You will have to write a fully custom networking client/server system, but there is no reason for it to be impossible
Since you should be able to use external libraries, the hardest part will really be to make the infrastructure to support the networking.
I had client server via signalr working in an old xenko build.
It worked good enough for my PoC, not sure how it would hold up on a real network load.
Since Xenko moved to .net Standard and Signalr didn’t yet the setup was broken.

Try Socket.IO.I think It is better than SignalR
