Hi there Xenko community,
I have been using Xenko for a few weeks now and I really dig it. Something that I think the community could really use, is a set of youtube tutorials teaching the basic instructions of the editor and how to make a basic game.
This is something I would like to make for Xenko as a thank you. I have made a lot of video tutorials before for another game engine, but I would like to get some feedback from everyone either way.
Some examples: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVsSSpjxxX0 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mU5rn-dg7s
Note: I am a programmer by day (and by night as well) meaning that my focus will lie mostly on gamedesign and programming. Never the less I find the art pipeline important as well so there will be some videos about that too.
Github will be used for versioning and all source assets will be freely available.
Previous experience has taugh me that people don’t like long tutorials. They need to be short (max 5 to 10 minutes)
What kind of video tutorials would you really like to see?
If a game is to be made, what kind of game do you think shows best the capabilities of Xenko?
